Managing Director

Daniel is responsible for the day-to-day strategic and operational activities across The England Football. Having previously worked at The Football Association as Head of Strategy & Business Services and Head of Special Projects, he was involved in the initial design, foundation and launch of the charity, before moving across to the organisation.

Prior to joining The FA, Daniel worked in the strategy team at Barclaycard and as a consultant for Roland Berger. He brings further expertise to the role from sitting on the fundraising advisory board of Switch the Play Foundation, and from his time as Secretary and then Chair of East London Hockey Club.

He remains an active hockey player, coach and umpire, as well as an avid global traveller, foodie and owner of far too many house plants.

Strategic Fundraising Advisor

Amba has worked in charity and educational fundraising in Australia, North America, Asia and the UK for over 20 years, supporting small and large charities establish fundraising operations and strategies to generate philanthropic income streams from trusts, foundations, corporate sponsorship, venture philanthropy and major donors.

As the Strategic Fundraising Advisor to the England Football Charity, she is helping shape the new charity’s funding portfolio to facilitate grant making programmes benefiting lower socio-economic groups and those with a disability to experience the transformative power of football.

Amba brings a vast and diverse experience of fundraising to the charity and making a difference in those communities who face disadvantage.
